Walpurgis Night receives the name of "Valborg" in Sweden and "Vappu" in Finland, and is a very lively celebration where people spend the night together and sing traditional songs to welcome spring.

Один из моих любимых электро-поп ансамблей из Гётеборга наконец то выпустил 30-го апреля дебютный альбом "Нефритовый Мотель". Найти его у меня ушло кое-какое время. Даже подчёркнуто, что на нём есть один из любимых синглов прошлого года "Чёрное молоко".
Поклонники группы "Ножик", с которым Цайгайст постоянно сравнивают (голоса певиц просто жуть как соотносятся), тоже его полюбят. У них замечательная смесь стиля, театральность, как ранний Fischerspooner и танцевальный звук, как у The Knife. Окутанные облаками перьев, гигантские снежки, костюмы индивидуально смоделированы, их представления с мотивами загробности визуально очень внушительны.

One of my favorite electro-pop bands Zeigeist from Goteborg are finally set to release their Debut Album 'The Jade Motel' April the 30th! Pretty excited, been digging them for awhile. Even picked their single Black Milk which is also on the album as one of my favorite singles of 2007.
Fans of bands like The Knife who they are constantly compared to (her voice's resemblance is uncanny!) will love Zeigeist. They are a great mixture of bands like early Fischerspooner's live theatrics and The Knife's dancey sound.
Shrouded in clouds of feathers, gigantic snowballs, haute couture and spurting blood, their macabre performance is visually stunning.
