Compared with the previous album - "Together We're Stranger" - "Schoolyard Ghosts" is a movement in cleaner and personal areas, far back from the debut "Loveblows & Lovecries" with its art-pop-indie dance experiments.

In the recording was attended by invited musicians: virtuoso-guitarist Bruce Kaphan (American Music Club, Red House Painters), drum Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson, Mastica) and Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), saxophonist / flutist Theo Travis and London Sessional Orchestra (conductor - Dave Stewart).
